Speaker: Derek Berry

Derek Berry has been creating experiences for the last 20 years. The Miami native moved to Chicago 15 years ago where he started producing events almost immediately. After making a name for himself, he was offered a partner position at Beauty Bar Chicago where he began to really experiment with making events actual experiences. Through his love for curating cutting edge experiences, he created the viral sensation, Saved By The Max. After running the pop up for a sold our year in Chicago, Derek relocated with Saved By The Max to Los Angeles to help operate and grow his companies name in the experimental marketing world. With the help of his team, Derek curated and oversaw the also successful and high level press pop ups; Peach Pit, Good Burger, and Breaking Bad Experience in 2019.

Prior to Saved By The Max and Beauty Bar, Derek was head of production at Concord Music Hall. Where he oversaw a team of professionals and all elements of touring production. Before that, he was on tour around the world with Grammy Award Winning Heavy Metal Band, Mudvayne as a tour manager. Partner Zack Eastman says “Derek has a gift for using his creative spirit and drive to help increase a company or products reach and overall success. Of all his accomplishments, Berry says his most meaningful is being a husband and a father.
