Speaker: Dr. Wes Wang

Dr. Wes Wang is currently the Chief Science Office at JPatton where he leads the development of a data driven approach to combat the $3T+ counterfeit market.

He has held various technical leadership roles in computer vision, data communications, and machine learning over the past 12 years of his professional career including Business Unit Technical Lead, Capture Manager, and Principal Investigator for $1M-$10M R&D efforts at several major defense contractors.

Wes received his PhD from University of California, San Diego in the field of signal & image processing, where he was also a researcher in the Video Processing Lab.

Wes has also been involved with startup activities in the 5G market space, leveraging his background in commercial and military communications to help architect products for generation mobile base stations next.
